I haven't tried the original, but, i don't think i will need to. This is a great scent profile for autumn and winter. Warm and a little spicy without being overpowering, my type of scent for cooler seasons. Very nice for date night, going out or formal event, or to just smell great walking the dog on a cold day and smelling this pusjing off skin in a light breeze is 🤌🏻
