It might feel early, but for businesses the Christmas gifting season really starts in the autumn. Leave it until December and you are competing with every other company for stock, couriers and time. Plan now and you get the gifts you actually want, delivered calmly and on time.
A simple Christmas gifting timeline
- September – October: Set your budget, agree who is on the list (clients, suppliers, staff) and decide roughly what you want to give.
- October – early November: Get quotes, choose your gifts and confirm quantities and personal messages.
- Mid – late November: Gifts prepared and packed.
- Early December: Gifts delivered or handed out, well before the last-minute scramble.
Know your list before your budget
Start by splitting your list into tiers. Your top clients might receive a full-size 50ml Extrait de Parfum or a bundle, while wider contacts and team members might receive a Discovery Set of three samples. Tiering means everyone gets something thoughtful without the cost spiralling.
Why fragrance works so well at Christmas
Christmas is when people are most open to a little luxury. A beautiful bottle of fragrance feels like a treat, not an obligation — and unlike food and drink, it lasts well into the new year, keeping your business in mind long after the festive season.
Make it personal
A short handwritten-style note turns a nice gift into a memorable one. Tell us who the gifts are for and what you would like to say, and we will help you get it right.
